Since the 19th century, the U.S. manufacturer Marble’s is considered one of the pioneers for knives and axes and is still a reliable size for numerous bushcrafters, campers and outdoor enthusiasts. To the great delight of TOPS Knives, Marble’s approached with the desire to implement a modern version of the legendary Woodcraft, breathing new life into a knife design that is over 100 years old. The historic versions of the Woodcraft usually had wrapped leather handles and metal bolsters. None of these features are normally typical of knives from TOPS. To cite the look, multi-colored Micarta elements are put together for the handle. Add to that the Midnight Bronze Cerakote coating on the 1095 blade as a harmonious match to the handle.
