Description
The designer Joe Flowers developed the Brakimo as an alternative to a utility knife and as a survival and camp knife. As the owner of a survival school, Flowers teaches survival skills in the Amazon jungle; focusing less so on jungle-specific techniques but more importantly on the right mindset and attitude for survival under a wide range of circumstances. The wide blade design of the Brakimo has a modified TOPS scandal grind that is ideally suited for batoning, cutting, and any other outdoor activity. The slim, tapered but nevertheless strong point of the not stainless 1095 carbon steel blade is ideal for boring holes or pockets into wood. The simple and original blade shape is predestined for a wide range of different outdoor chores. Shipped with kidded sheath and alarm whistle.
