The aptly named Shaman instills the spirit of the Spyderco Native in a larger and ever better performing version. The soul of the Shaman is its powder metallurgical CPM-S-30V serrated blade with extremely high hollow grind for outstanding cutting characteristics and a clearly defined tip. A DLC coating is used for this completely black version. Despite its extreme hardness, Diamond Like Carbon is a very thin and thus flexible surface coating. The combination of these two technical contradictions in terms results in extreme robustness and durability. The pleasantly contoured G10 handle scales are mounted on skeletonized stainless steel plates.
