Description
The MKM Colvera derives its name from the eponymous river serving as the foundation of the blacksmith tradition of Maniago since the 14th century. The pocketknife designed by Jesper Voxnæs doesn’t have much in common with the first locally produced knifes, but it represents the technological evolution that unfolded there over centuries. The curved handle has a front scale of modern carbon fiber and features the characteristic milled design. The blade on ball bearings consists of Böhler M390 and is easy to open with the removable flipper or the striking nail nick. A satinized finish completes the blade design. The blade is secured by a sturdy framelock made from solid titanium. The spacer and clip consist of the same material. The compact size, rugged look and lovingly created details such as the clip and spacer make the Colvera very attractive to collectors and users. Comes with a high-quality nylon case.
