Description
When the keyword France comes up in the world of knives, most people immediately and exclusively think of the classic Laguiole knives that are known far beyond the country’s borders. Only very few knife lovers know that almost every French region has produced its own knife shape and that the famous Laguiole knives are even one of the more recent developments. Ironically, even many French people are not aware of this fact. These locally created knives are also known as “Les régionaux” (the regional ones). In this regard, the L’Alpin is considered one of the finest regional pocket knives and was created in the high-lying areas of the French Alps. The Magnum Parzival combines the traditional shape and construction of a L’Alpin pocket knife with modern materials and details. The 7Cr17Mov stainless steel blade is classically opened by nail nick and reliably locked by a sturdy liner lock. The back spring is equipped with an elaborate decorative filework, which also acts as a support for the thumb and thus increases the work safety. The noble handle scales are made of olive wood, the characteristic bolsters are made of stainless steel. A lanyard hole with a short leather strap completes the equipment of the Magnum Parzival.
