Description
Making a good person a better one has been the mission of the Scout movement founded by the British General Robert Baden-Powell for more than 100 years. Young people of all backgrounds and religions learn with and from each other in order to mature mentally, physically and socially. In various activities such as tent camps or joint excursions, the aim is to develop responsible behaviour within the group and to strengthen their own personality. Life with nature is an elementary part of the scout’s life, which always holds great, but also small insights. To reveal the last secrets of nature, History Knife & Tool presents the lovingly recreated German Scout Knife as a tribute to all scouts. The basic shape of the renowned knife is reminiscent of a military bayonet, which can be worn comfortably on the belt with the help of the plain metal sheath. The modern replica by HKT is based on authentic originals as well as official documents and combines the traditional design with high-quality materials. The sturdy blade of the sheath knife is made of satin-finished 440A and is supplied with a practical tenon saw. The metal handle with black POM inlays, always lies securely in the hand even when wet thanks to the fine texturing and has a practical engraving area. The characteristic parrying element prevents unintentional slipping onto the blade and thus increases the young adventurers’ safety at work.
