Description
There is hardly a country where the tradition of professional diving is as rooted as in Italy. The Incursori Special Forces, born of the legendary torpedo riders of World War I, is still considered one of the best and most experienced combat diving groups in the world. The famous Galeazzi diving knife dates back to the 1950s, the pioneer decade of diving. Fox revives the famous knife and presents a detailed replica with a modern mix of materials. Rarely has a replica been implemented as consistently and uncompromisingly as this Galeazzi. The basic construction is based on a solid piece of 420 stainless steel with a smooth edge, but with an additional serrated edge on the inwardly curved blade back for cutting through ropes and nets. The textured handle scales are made of non-slip G10. The end of the handle also has a solid roller wrench. With the help of the tool, also known as the Englishman, even large hexagonal bolts can be easily loosened. The practical sheath is made of richly greased thick cowhide. Regularly maintained, the leather withstands salt water and UV radiation longer than modern plastics. The Galeazzi diving knife is best worn in style with a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms or an Officine Panerai.
