The FKMD Extreme Trakker takes the classic, angled blade shape and transposes it into a modern design. The front-heavy and extremely sturdy blade has a full thickness of 6 mm up to 15 mm from the blade tip and is therefore superb for use as a machete. With its Forprene handle, the Extreme Trakker is secure in the hand in all weather conditions. Two lanyard holes enable the knife to be secured to the wrist. The bronze-colored HNCF coating on the N690 blade has a Vickers hardness of 3000-3500, which is within the range between corundum and diamond.
