The cutlery manufactory Due Cigni (“Two Swans”), hailing from Maniago in Northern Italy, has been handcrafting chef’s knives for more than 120 years. Several years ago, the tradition-steeped Italian knife manufactory Due Cigni was acquired by the well-known Fox Knives Group, which is also located in Maniago. Fox leverages its experience and contacts from the sports and outdoor knife segment and transfers its know-how to the new subsidiary. The die-forged and ice-hardened blades from the Florence series consist of premium molybdenum-alloyed X50CrMoV15 stainless steel and are elaborately machined and sharpened in countless processing steps. The blade features a full tang design, giving the knives an optimized balance. The three-way riveted and ergonomically designed handle scales not only ensure a refined and timeless visual appeal, but also give these knives outstanding handling. By using stainless steel rivets and handle scales made from premium POM, the knives of the Florence series as also dishwasher-safe. Knives from Due Cigni are premium cutting implements that provide long-lasting cutting enjoyment, and are also recommended without restrictions for professional users in the restaurant business.
