Description
Elmer Roush discovered the inspiration of the CRKT Cimbri in the British Museum in London and transferred the clear and straight lines of the two-handed axe into a contemporary tool with high utility value. Named after the Germanic tribe of the Cimbri, which had already successfully opposed the Roman legions in the 1st century B.C., this Franconian axe is more likely to have been settled around 800. The forged head made of 1055 carbon steel is protected against corrosion with a black phosphate coating, and the handle is made of Tennessee Hickory wood. The cutting edge is 10.4 cm long.
