Tony Lennartz is an institution in the survival scene; most of our customers probably know his name. In the 1980s, he designed the legendary and peerless classic “German Expedition Knife”. A redesigned version and two more recent variations are produced in-house by Boker. Now, Tony Lennartz is presenting the Travelhawk Axe, a joint project with Condor. We are very happy to be able to present the axe in our catalogue. Like all Lennartz designs, the Travelhawk is a creation of great experience combined with a creative and unconventional imagination. The shape was inspired by “Franziska” of the Franks and by the small Viking axe “Skeggöx”. One clever feature is that the handle and head can be disassembled in one step. This makes the axe easy to transport; the head is also available separately as a knife for special tasks, such as skinning game.
