Description
Ryan Johnson from Chattanooga already proved his outdoor expertise with the Chogan axes and hatchets. Now he expands the series with a classic tool that has its roots in agriculture and mining. The pickaxe, also called a pick, is a hand tool with two opposing tips. The flat side is primarily for ground work such as loosening, digging and excavating pits, while the pointed pick is for breaking up rock or ice. The head is made of shock-elastic 1055 carbon steel with a black coating to protect against scratches and corrosion. The handle is made of the finest Tennessee hickory wood and can be removed for transport.
