Casström 50/50 water protection wax

Description

The all-natural Casström 50/50 water protection wax for hot waxing, a mixture of approximately 50% beeswax and 50% neatsfoot oil, will protect your leather knife sheath (and other leather products) from rain and moist. While Casström’s other wax product, the Lapland Leather Wax, is easy to apply in the field, the Casström 50/50 water protection wax applied by hot waxing gives a deeper and more long-lasting water repellent protection but requires more hand work, equipment and temperatures need to be controlled to achieve a good result. The important rigidity of the leather sheath will not be weakened with this wax, as is the case with most leather products on the market. Just be careful not to overheat the wax (around 100 degrees C) as this will damage the leather.
