Description
With the design of the Boker Plus Kihon DC, the American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of Japanese Kihon. The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley implements down-to-earth in a solid everyday knife. The features and straightforward design are evidence of its high practicality and give the knife with the decisive price-performance advantage an ideal basis for everyday cutting work. The satin-finished drop-point blade made of D2 opens smoothly over the removable thumb stud thanks to the ball bearings, while the crossbar lock guarantees intuitive, safe and practical unlocking of the knife. The 2.0 versions of the popular model are also suitable as a lightweight full-size EDC thanks to the 15% weight reduction. The non-slip handle with textured squares is made of high-strength GFN and sits comfortably in the hand. Blue anodized rings around the blade pivot screw and the large handle screw give the Kihon a fine touch. With lanyard hole and convertible tip-up wire clip for flexible carrying options.
