Description
The razor Boker Paua in the popular size 5/8 inch is a real eye-catcher and combines an extraordinary look with traditional craftsmanship. Paua are shellfish from the genus of the abalone, but unlike abalones they are only found in the unspoilt nature of New Zealand’s coastal waters. They have been used by the Maori as traditional body jewellery for many centuries and are still used today as decorations for figures, weapons and meeting houses. The impressive handle scales are absolutely unique in colour and pattern. The blade with French head is ground extra hollow with a ridge and of course it also bears the historical engraving that was once used for particularly unusual Boker razors. Thanks to the serration on both sides, the perfectly balanced knife always offers a secure hold. With authentic Boker stamp on the blade, certificate of authenticity and historical packaging. Handmade in the Boker knife manufactory Solingen.Warning and safety information:Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
