One Life - One Knife, that is the credo of the well-known knife maker TOPS from Idaho in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The company has an extremely high level of official input, as many TOPS employees can look back on a long police or military career and are well networked with the authorities. Each model is tested in the field for at least six months before mass production.

The extremely stable knife blades are mainly made of the tried and tested 1095 carbon steel and protected against corrosion with a special, abrasion-resistant powder coating (developed especially for TOPS). This so-called Black Traction Coating survived the US military's particularly demanding salt spray test for seven days without damage. Due to their robustness and reliability, TOPS knives are particularly valued as an important piece of equipment by the Allied Forces in the current crisis areas. All TOPS models are made in the USA.
