Otter has been offering quality from Solingen since 1840. The manufactory is named after the fish otters that used to live on the banks of streams and rivers in the Bergisches Land. Then as now, robust pocket knives were manufactured in a traditional way with a lot of manual work and attention to detail. The range consists of knives for leisure, household, garden and hunting. Mostly equipped with carbon blades, these have excellent edge retention and are of robust quality.
