Forge de Laguiole was founded in 1987 and manufactures high-quality Laguiole pocket knives according to ancient and traditional craftsmanship. A knife does not pass through many hands like in industrial production, but is made by one of the numerous knife makers from start to finish. All the work steps, from the forging of the steel to the processing of the handle scales and the finishing touches, are carried out in the workshops of the Forge de Laguiole itself. And so every Laguiole is created as an unmistakably handcrafted individual piece.
