Description
The traditional German arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch, in addition to its firearms range, has developed a tactical knife under the same criteria that is manufactured by hand at the Boker Knife Manufatory Solingen. Many functional and design elements of the HK MK23 and its successor the HK USP were adopted. For example, the handle scales are made of the same glass-fibre reinforced plastic as the pistol grips and have the same non-slip surface. The thumb stud on both sides corresponds to the magazine release of the HK USP. The bead blasted blade is made of X-15T.N., a nitrogen-alloyed steel that is particularly resistant to corrosion. The edge retention is also above average with a Rockwell hardness of 58 HRC. The blade of the Boker Alpha is locked by a linerlock. The tactical knife can be completely dismantled for cleaning. With left- and right-side mountable clip made of round spring steel.
